Geokids "Masquerade" at Veddinge Bakker

Since 2014, an impressive group of 3,500 schoolchildren has taken part in the engaging Geokids project, channeling their energy and creativity into digging clay and shaping it into masks that now decorate a scenic park. The park, located at the shelter site near Veddinge Bakker, offers visitors a unique blend of nature and art. The culmination of this project was marked by a special event in 2028, where the park was officially inaugurated with an honorable visit from Princess Marie, adding a royal touch to the occasion.

An Artistic and Educational Initiative

Geokids is a fantastic initiative that brings local culture, geology, and creativity together. Through their participation, children from Odsherred schools have not only created beautiful art but have also embarked on a learning journey about the Geopark Odsherred's fascinating landscapes and rich cultural history.
