Information on Bike Pick-Up and Return
Delivery and Pick-Up Times
- Delivery: We deliver the ordered bikes the evening before the first rental day, between 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM. If you haven't arrived at the holiday house yet, the bikes will be placed on the terrace or at the back of the house, unless otherwise agreed.
- Pick-Up: On the last rental day, the bikes must be at the address from 4:00 PM. We collect the bikes between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. As we have many pick-up locations, we cannot specify exactly who will have their bikes collected first or last. Unless otherwise agreed, the bikes will be picked up within this time frame.
Pick-Up with Your Own Car
We are very careful with our bikes and therefore have requirements for how they are picked up:
- The bikes must be picked up on a bike platform.
- Pick-up on hitch-mounted racks or special rear-carrier brackets is not allowed, as these can scratch the bikes, and many new models do not fit on them.
- It is forbidden to remove the wheels to fit the bike in the trunk.
Please ensure you have the proper equipment if you wish to pick up the bikes yourself upon ordering.
Pick-Up and Return as a Customer of Odsherred Bike Rental
We do not have fixed opening and closing times and are only present by appointment. When you place an order, you will receive an email asking for your preferred time to pick up the bikes.
- Return: No later than 6:00 PM on the last rental day. When picking up the bikes, we will agree on your desired return time; otherwise, you can send an email or call when you know what time suits you.
Rules for Use and Adjustment of Bikes
To ensure our bikes are always in top condition for all customers, there are some important rules to follow:
- Do not adjust the screws on our bikes. The bikes are pre-set so that everyone can sit comfortably on them. There is a quick-release on the seat post, so you can easily adjust the height by hand to your desired position.
- Child trailers are only rented together with a bike. It is not allowed to mount your own child seat or brackets for your own child trailer on our bikes.
- When ordering a child seat, child trailer, or dog trailer, we will mount the equipment on the bike you ordered. There are no trailer brackets on the bikes as standard; this equipment is only installed after an order has been placed.
