To get the best experience when renting a mountain bike, we recommend the following:
- Check the weather forecast – Odsherred’s terrain can change depending on the weather.
- Wear appropriate clothing – MTB riding can be muddy, especially in forest areas.
- Consider safety gear – Although helmets are not included in the rental price, we strongly recommend wearing one.
- Plan your route – Decide in advance whether you want to ride in small forests, on gravel roads, or take on the challenge of Kårup MTB trail.
- Bring water and snacks – Longer rides require energy, so make sure to bring refreshments for breaks.
- Adjust your saddle height correctly – Our mountain bikes are equipped with quick-release seat posts, making it easy to adjust the saddle height for optimal comfort.
- Transporting the bike upon pickup – If you are renting one or more mountain bikes for pickup and plan to ride in Kårup Forest, you will need a bike rack for your car to transport the bikes safely. It is not allowed to transport the bike on a tow-bar-mounted bike carrier or load it into the car. This is for safety reasons and to protect the bikes from damage.
